The Griffin Gives Foundation was honored to welcome the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team back to Montgomery County on October 1, 2016. This event was held at Butch Clemens Park in Lansdale, PA.
This nationally recognized team participated and challenged local softball teams comprised of firefighters, police, and veterans during a round-robin tournament. This year, the Montgomery County Police Team walked away with bragging rights from this year’s tournament.
This is the second visit for the nationally recognized Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. Dennis Wince, the team’s General Manager, was thrilled with the outcome thanking The Griffin Gives Foundation for all they do for Military Families. “On behalf of our entire team, thank you for recognizing the families who support us day in and day out to be the men and woman we are. Without them we are nothing and we appreciate your honoring them, inviting them and bringing your community together to Thank us All for our service to this country”.
The Griffin Gives Foundation looks forward to the opportunity to bring the team back in 2018.
